How wonderful to see the pictures even if I couldn't be there in person. It is so meaningful to me that the team and the Kenyans cared enough to remember my brother-in-law by planting a tree at this very special place. I just know these Bahasha women will be used of the Lord again and again to inspire others to leave bad lifestyles behind and trust in Him for a better future. I think of the widow's group and the way God lead Amy to invite them into the circle of the Bahasha women for support and for bridging the gap caused by the loss of their husbands. They, too, can have a dream of a future with the Lord on their side and with the assistance of ELI as well as the 37 women who are realizing their dream starting to come true. Bwana asifiwe! (Praise the Lord !)
Amy told the women that all of Kenya would hear of their dream some day, that the newspaper would show their faces and their achievements. Let me know when that happens; I'll rejoice along with them at the great things God has done.
