Kingsburg 5: Home safely

Just a quick note to let you know that the Kingsburg Team made it safely to Ilula. I was a grueling, two-day journey to get here, and they're all asleep by now. Or I hope so, at least. Brian's the only one who slept on drive to Eldoret, so he might be tossing and turning tonight, but the others were pretty wiped out by dinner time.

Tomorrow morning they'll be off to assist at a school outing tomorrow for about 45 first and second graders who are going to Poa Place, a local park. They're definitely hitting the ground running!

Pheww! What a relief to hear about the safe arrival. I was a "nervous Nelly" when I didn't get a call from Ashlea on the London layover. Our prayers are with the entire team. God speed to you all! He has great things planned for this trip! : )

Aslea tried calling you from London, but without success. She's doing well.

Thanks for your prayers.

MUNGU NI MWEMA!!!! God is good! There have been a lot of people praying for a safe "safari" to Illula. Now the "fun" and blessings begin! May God further bless the plans He has laid out for you and orchestrated for you. I know this will be an enriching and growing experience for all five of you. Been there, know so! My love to all the "family", especially my "dada" Angelina!

Glad you 5 arrived safely. Dave, we met this morning, where were you? We (4) all prayed for you and the team to be a blessing for all you come in contact with! Sonny is still in texas and heard he and Shirley were helping Tracy and Brian move to a new house 40-50 miles away. Probably to higher ground. The Giants extended Sabean's contract to 2010. We'll keep you in our prayers and informed of all the stuff that's going on around here. Stay safe!

Love,
Steve Britton

Received two emails this morning regarding your safe arrival along with your luggage and the bins. Prayers have been answered. Reading about your welcome brought tears to my eyes too! Looking forward to hearing about your days through this wonderful medium in this computer age :)
